And if I want to, gift a treat. Is that it? Do I need to let you know in case I give a treat in case that person will already receive one from someone else? And is it a guarantee to get a gift if giving at least 3? I'm still getting the hang of exchanges so just wanted to check in!

Date: 2026-04-14 10:23 pm (UTC)Regarding the exchange questions: you are only required to give one gift to the person you're assigned to. You can give more gifts if you want (those are called treats), but that it totally up to you and you don't need to tell me. A person can receive more than 1 gift, that is also totally fine.
It's a guarantee that you will get a gift if you a) post a gift for your assignment and b) request at least 3 unique fandoms. So, if we get to the works reveals date and for some reason you don't have a gift yet, but you have a) posted your gift until the due date and b) requested at least 3 different fandoms, reveals will be delayed until you have a gift. So no one can see their gift until everyone who is guaranteed a gift has one.
However, it's also fine to participate with less than 3 unique fandoms. It's just that if we get to the reveals date and you don't have a gift yet, reveals will not be delayed.
