Nomination Clarification / Reminders

Some reminders/clarifications about nominations:

1. Since RPF and Crossovers are not allowed, Creator's Choice of Fandom and similar nominations are also not allowed. Feel free to delete those if you want to keep that nomination slot, otherwise they'll be rejected.

2. The exception to the RPF rule is pro wrestling because it's been explained to me that it is highly fictionalized and doesn't usually count as RPF.

3. Please disambiguate your nominations by adding the fandom to the relationship tag -> "Char A/Char B (fandom name)".

4. Piping (that is, "Char name A | alternative name for char A") is discouraged because it makes the tagset harder to read. But if there is a good reason for the pipe (such as original name vs dub/localization name), it's okay to keep it. Use your best judgement.

5. If you notice any relationship duplicates under the same fandom, please let me know so that I can fix it.

Tagging question - songs

Hello —

I’d like to make some nominations for characters from various songs, e.g.: ‘The Narrator/Rosalita in Bruce Springsteen’s Rosalita’ or ‘The Narrator/‘Babe’ in Joan Baez’s cover of It Ain’t Me Babe’. How would you like this handled in terms of fandom — separate (fandom for each song) or under a broad fandom (‘Music’ or ‘Songs’ or suchlike)?

Hello! You can nominate it as "The Narrator/Rosalita (Bruce Springsteen - Rosalita (Song))" under a broad fandom "Music" :)

Thank you — Unfortunately, AO3 informed me that ‘Music’ couldn’t be in the tagset as a fandom as it was already entered (editL into the whole AO3 tagset, I think, not into this one specifically) as a freeform tag. I’ve nominated under ‘Music (Fandom)’ - let me know if you want that changed.

Psst - Dragon Age doesn't need to be in there three separate times. Either Dragon Age All Media Types or Dragon Age Video Games is fine (there are some side novels but I think everyone understands them as supplementing the games). It's a single continuity.

Hallo! Thanks for running :) I noticed a misspelled tag in the tagset, presumably anyone in the fandom can fill in the blanks themselves but just in case it's an issue... I am pretty sure that "Mystery Girl/Pear (SU)" is meant to be "Mystery Girl/Pearl (SU)". But perhaps that nominator can specify if they actually meant the crying pear from the in-universe cartoon that gets used as an occasional joke...
